Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born the only child to Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her career in show business from a young age. By the time she was 16years old, Alexandra was able to land leading roles in several shows on television. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects over the years. They include the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she has been an official juror for the Transylvania International Film Festival as and the Cannes Film Festival.
