Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film most well-known for her roles in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The actress was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16 she portrayed the lead character in various TV dramas. Her fame was due to her portrayal on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects through the years.
